Something strange happened in 2008, but it is a complete mystery.

Information : during the last 8 years, 1 000 pupils have consumed an average of 120 000 kWh per year.

Exercise : how many kWh did each pupil consume per day, in average ? (You may take 360 days for a year).

Information : 1 kWh = 1 000 Wh is the quantity of electricity used by an old fashioned 100 W light bulb during 10 hours.

Exercise : this consumption is equivalent to how many hours of an old fashioned light bulb for each pupil, every single day of the year ?
Exercise : Imagine that there is a 300W video-projector in each of the 50 classrooms of our school, working each of them 4 hours a day in average, of how many kWh do you expect our yearly consumption to increase ?
