Our parish was visited by two African priests from Senegal and Etiopia who were invited to a meeting with our students. They were talking about life in Africa, children's lives, education, problems, water supplies, how they built wells in Sudan, etc. They also showed two films about African children at school and about thier everyday life.
That introduction was followed by a long and interesting discussion about the differences in our lives and ways of helping African countries.
Some of our children were really surprised with the film and the conditions that were shown in it.
Let's hope it will make them think!
